Proverbs 24:21
My son, fear thou the LORD and the king:
and meddle not with them that are given to change:

Get these eight words of SCRIPTURE into your mind and into your heart:  For there is no power but of God.  It does not matter whose desk you are standing in front of, the lowliest governmental bureaucrat known to man, or the President of the United States, for what power they hold, tiny to mighty, their power comes from the-one-and-only-source-of-power-ever-to-be, our almighty and terrible GOD!  Believe Him and live!  Disbelieve Him and die!

Exodus 4:21, ... but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.  God tweaks hearts.  He tweaked the heart of Pharaoh and played him to His will.  God uses both good and evil powers to His will and glory.  Man interferes with God when they unknowingly and foolishly intervene and disrupt what God has established for His purpose.  This is why dissenters are damned.  God needs not to bother explaining Himself to man, other than giving him a law, therefore, it is best to unquestionably obey His laws.

For there is no power but of God!

Romans 13:1-7
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God:  The powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God:  and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

John 19:11
Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.

We are not speaking about dissension within a church body but dissenters who turn on, and rebel against their authority, primarily their governments and more often today their employers. Jesus Christ personifies these truths in Scripture and topic with His refusal to respond, let alone justify Himself before His authority, Pontius Pilate the governor. Likewise before the chief priest and elders.  Matthew 27:12, ... and when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.

The Natural Man (Unrighteous, Unholy, Born of the Flesh)

I Corinthians 3:14,  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  As hard as it may seem, dissension is ungodliness.  The natural man would read Romans 13 and openly assert;  THIS JUST CANNOT BE!  Itís being misinterpreted!

What we must believe and obey is THE HOLY WORD OF GOD!

I Timothy 2:1,  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;  For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.

It's all about our Authority

We believe otherwise when THE HOLY WORD OF GOD is not our authority.  Today our authority is the ungodly worldly church or the unholy word of man, therefore we are at ease and allowed to cast aside the Scripture that informs us, The powers that be are ordained of God.  Itís not the dissenters who have been ordained of God but the authority they dispute.  By God's living holy law, the Holy Word of God, dissenters are guaranteed damnation.

II Chronicles 20:6, Jehoshaphat's Prayer: And said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen?

The heart of natural man is naturally set against God and naturally contends THIS JUST CANNOT BE, IT'S UNNATURAL!  Yes! Itís unnatural.  Itís natural to rebel.  Dissension flows parallel with ungodliness and today the spirit of dissension blankets our entire world.  Our worldly church leaders and government officials join ranks to publicly denounce, before the world, the Holy Word of God.  America instigates dissension throughout the world, then goes to war to destroy their very own unrighteous works.

Obedience to the Holy Word of God is Unnatural

Psalms 66:7, He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves.

We watch the troubles that transpired in Iran over their 2009 presidential election and through every news media cheer loudly from the sidelines for the ungodly dissenters.  The world demands justice and expects it.  Little Neda gave her life for the great cause of freedom!  Many innocent people have been cast into prison and beat and killed.  Can we turn our backs to such vile unfairness and discrimination?  The natural man knows nothing of mercy, nor do they hold the Holy Word of God as their truth, for these dissenters we cheer-on are eternally damned, but it's natural mans justice natural man seeks.

Micah 6:8, He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? The LORD's voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.

Iran, China and all the governments of the world but our own is none of our business!  Meddling busybodies are what we Americans are called and that's what we are.  Unless the rebels of this world are shooting at us we stand always for the dissenters.  It's natural man's natural nature.  When modern man has a problem with their authority they demand immediate justification, as though they themselves are kings.  Today the entire world has a zero tolerance level for authority and unhappiness.

Ecclesiastes 8:4, Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

The policy of our very own government is to open wide our doors to the world's leaders of dissension, those who oppose our Holy God.  Anyone who disagrees with their government, particularly if they are a leader or threatened to be cast into prison, is welcomed in Washington with open arms.  They are welcomed also into our worldly churches to stand behind their unholy pulpits and vigorously report on their personal discontentment with their authority.

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

America participates in spreading dissension around the world when we harbor and protect dissenters of other countries.

Why do we American's do this?  100% SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS!

Americaís unholy worldly churches protest openly on our streets, rebelling against the laws of our own country and march in dissent of homosexuals and likewise abortionist.  Incredible hypocrites we are.  Ten righteous men would have saved every homosexual in Sodom and Gomorrah.  Today America itself could possible fall short of the ten righteous men God required of those twin cities of old.  One might sense those angels are now surveying us.

I Samuel 15:22-23, Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.

Today our entire world is in chaos. There are wars and rumors of wars throughout.  There are famines and earthquakes and pestilences and deadly diseases on every land.  These are not the signs of the end of time but the signs of the beginning of great sorrows, sorrows such as the world as never known.  These curses are brought upon us for our ungodliness, such as rebelling in the streets in the name of holy Jesus.

Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's;
and unto God the things that are God's.

Can you actually picture Jesus leading His disciples on a march through the streets of Jerusalem in rebellion against the authority of the Pharisee's, or Rome?  The picture Jesus chose and portrayed for you, and I, was humility, as He passed through the city setting on the back of a little borrowed colt with His disciples following closely behind Him.  Remember Judas?  He, too, thought ... THIS JUST CANNOT BE!

Twas no golden chariot our lowly Master chose that day,
no white steeds with heads held high bursting through the crowded way.
Like Jesus, the natural man must also learn obedience by the things which he suffers.  Obedience is the opposite of dissent.  Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.  Dissenters are guaranteed damnation, for they are not fit or prepared for the kingdom of God.  With all laws, governmental and God's, we must strive lawfully, and like it or not we must leave the business of other nations to themselves ... and to God.

Dissension, small or great, is natural man meddling in God's business!

Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

Man seeks freedom from man but gives no thought of freeing themselves from their sins.  We are under bondage to sin!  A far greater bondage then any man could ever hold over another man in this temporal world.  God gave us a law and when taken up, believed and obeyed, will free us of this bondage of sin and death, and also free us of the bondage of man.  But because God's law weighs in with such heavy authority, such as opposing dissension, we throw it aside and seek natural mans unrighteous ways.

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice:
but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

A true 'Christian' is a pilgrim on this land and seeks another country, one high above this lowly world of man we temporarily exist in.  Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.

What of Gandhi?

One ask, what of Gandhi?  What Gandhi?  Gandhi the movie or Gandhi the India today?  Today and everyday 250 million people go hungry in India and countless millions of others are barely above them.  God calls for man, individually, to turn to His Holy Word/laws and change, individually, but man, in mind only, rises up to God's level and declares to all, follow me, I'll be the good shepherd and together we'll change the world.  Dissension is dissension and will never be justified.

Commoners and lords, paupers and kings,
God alone made each and everyone.
He sets into power both the good and the bad,
for He is God, and He alone.
Itís not for this world to correct Godís work
and decide with mans feeble mind,
every soul below deserves more than given
... and sets out to build another heaven.

Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.  Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Martyrdom vs. Dissension
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Elijah, Daniel and the three Hebrew children offered their lives for their eternal authority but were spared as they glorified God before the world.  Others such as Stephen, John the Baptist, the prophets, the apostles (including the author of Romans 13:1-7) and Jesus Christ Himself, gave their lives serving God.  Giving our life for our eternal authority is martyrdom, giving our life opposing our temporal earthly authority is dissension.

1 Peter 2:13
Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake:
